Is this piece called a "vinyl trim insert"?
I need to replace the 8 foot black screw cover piece across the front of my Mini Lite. It appears to be 5/8" or so wide. Are there other options than Camco to order from online? Thanks in advance.

For some reason "gimp" or "gimmping" or gimp molding popped into my head when I was reading this.

Local dealer sells it as screw cover on 1/2in or 5/8, brown, black, white.

I had to replace some of these on our camper this year. Found it on Amazon
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I didnt get the Camco version because I read about it being very stiff and cracked easily when installing.

Thank you for the feedback. it looks like you squeeze it to create a hump shape and it fits into the existing channel. Have a great day.

^^This is important. Perhaps you could remove a piece of the original to get an accurate width measurement.
Also, it installs better when warm (more pliable). Cut a piece off of the roll (a little long, then trim to exact length later) vs. trying to install it off of the roll.
And don't try to pull it through the track. Get one side to click in the track then work the opposite side into the track. Go back and forth in this fashion.
I installed a bunch of this on our camper.

Also, Start one side for about a foot or so, work the end of the other edge into its groove, then take a metal spoon and run the edge like you are running the bead on a bicycle tire. Pops that edge in fast and saves a lot of fingertips. A tech in an Alabama campground/sales lot taught me this one.
