Issue with Fifth-Wheel Fender Skirts on Cedar Creek

Through time I have had issues with the plastic fender skirts on fifth-wheels whereas through travel/road vibration, etc. seems like the screws break through the plastic holes. I have simply adapted by placing small washers on the screw to give it more width to stabilize. One would think the manufacturer of these fender skirts would make those areas thicker/stiffer to take the ride? I noticed an RV did an FIY youtube, showing basically putting a washer on the back-side of the fender-skirt hole then putting an adhesive mixture that hardened around the plastic and the washer.

Anyone else out there ever had this issue and have a better fix?

I've had mine come loose...so I just make it a point to grab my RV/srewhead screwdriver and tighten them up a couple times a year.

Not too tight, though.

Could be why your's broke...factory worker probably used a power screwdriver and over tightened them.
