We got a replacement for ours on Amazon. Search for rv vent damper. You'll need the measurements. Ours had two plastic tabs that you had to bend the straight damper piece slightly to put in place. We think the wind got under ours and tore it off, but it could have been vibrations.
Another source for parts is etrailer.com

We just replaced the 'flap' because that's what fell off on ours. Amazon calls them 'flappers' and they come in different sizes

Is that your problem or do you need to replace the whole vent?

Well the frame is still there , and then just a hole in wall . Shouldn’t there be a open close piece then a flap cover ?

This happen to me twice is because I forgot to secure it before the next trip. Had to replace the whole unit twice. Now, I have a check list of what need to be done before I hit the road and never had a problem.

I'm wondering if we're talking about the same thing.
Are you talking about the vent at the upper part in the picture ?

I have lost several of them. I'm guessing it's because I forget to secure the flap outside.
