Lower Doors

Hi, I just purchased a 2002 Forest River Reflection, 35 foot long. The lower doors for the electrical and water/sewer hookups barely open, I almost need to lay on the ground to access anything. All the other doors, generator, propane, etc open all the way up. Is this supposed to be this way? Could this be a problem with the little shock absorbers on the doors? Any help would be great! Thanks, Grover.
