Got the white over my bath vent, didn't want a change in hue and color of the lighting coming through the vent.

I prefer the smoke color because it doesn't look dirty as quick as the white when viewed from the ground. I also like it because it does block some sunlight coming in

To late! I just ordered the 2d one for the front vent, something I should have done a couple of years ago. It is nice being able to leave the vents open when rain is on the way.

If tt were white, that's what I'd stay with. I have black, because of tt color and that's what they came with. Had 1 smoke that I put on over br. Those black and smoke ones absorb solar heat like crazy as do skylights. So much so, you'll want to block them so your ac cools!

Great information thank you. I'll go white to avoid the heat of black. 114 degrees here today.

Black if you want less light coming through and don't mind the extra heat. White if you want more light and less heat.

23ss has pretty small windows and not much light to begin with. Thanks for the tip.

Get what ever color makes you happy. When running the a/c they are closed, and we want the least amount of light and heat coming as possible. So we use these vent insulators. Love 'em. Then if you do want some light or ventilation, snatch them out. Easy. https://www.homedepot.com/p/Camco-Ve...iABEgISzvD_BwE
