Miscellaneous parts: Underbelly vent/drain hole covers

First time poster this forum. Have a new 2020 Rockwood Signature 8328SB. My current problem is that the vented plastic cover on one of the 4 drain holes in the corrugated underbelly material fell off on a recent trip... and left a great 2” access port for critters. I’ve worn Google out trying to find a suitable replacement, but no luck. My current fix is a 4” square of 304SS metal grid screwed and glued over the hole.

Has anyone found a good source of miscellaneous small parts such as this? Is it possible to get one-off stuff like this from the manufacturer?

If you need a small section, find a local sign shop. It is the same plastic they use for yard signs. They will have it in white, but may have some in black. They may even have a scrap piece or a misprinted sign they will give you. But they should have the same sort of plastic. You can spray paint it black if the color difference matters to you (and they don't have black).

Or check with your dealer where you bought the trailer. They may have a small scrap from a repair job on another trailer. It's trash to them if it's a cut off piece, but you only need 4" or so, right?

Thanks, and appreciate the quick reply. That sounds like a good avenue for the future. However, the part that fell off is a 4” square plastic grated cover for the hole. Don’t think I want to cover up the hole completely, since I think the purpose is to vent and drain the space between the underbelly and tanks.

Check your local hardware or HVAC dealers for a vent cover. Maybe Amazon for something like this:
https://smile.amazon.com/Deflecto-HS4B-Deflect-o-4/dp/B0031107EY/ref=sr_1_181?dchild=1&keywords=4%22+square+vent+co ver&qid=1604965624&sr=8-181.
Glue the louvers in place , so they don't move and place a little screen material inside for the small critters.

Just a thought....you could find scrap plastic as previously recommended and drill small holes in it to give you a grate effect. It won't be an exact replacement of the grate you lost but it should work and certainly better than leaving a 4" hole in your underbelly.
