I have news for you and it's not good news either. If you peel the moulding out and the screws underneath are rusty, you have way more than a rusty screw issue, you have a water intrusion issue and if the screw heads are rusty, the wood underneath is on it's way to rotting away (that is what causes the screws to rust), the water reacting with the wood fibers and creating a mild acid.
So the wood rots between the outer skin and the wallboard inside, soaks the fiberglass insulation and not only do you get rot, you get mold growth too and some strains of that mold are hazardous to your health.
Rusty screw heads are the indicator of bad things to come, all because you didn't watch your seals and caulk, the lifeblood of any RV.
