Order exterior parts from manufacturer?

Can I order exterior parts from Forest River for my Leprechaun motor home, like doors and trim? I hit something on a recent trip and damaged the trim underneath the entry door. I do not want to have to go to an RV repair place and pay mile-high parts and labor costs?

I just recently lost a front fender, which was called a front cap….the names are a mess… thankfully someone here told me. I had to Order from my dealership but it was not terribly priced. My understanding is no manufacture direct from FR.

I would guess that it would have to be through a dealer and depends on the age of your unit.

There are after market fender skirt replacements in addition to the Mfr. However they are very expensive and no better than the flimsy stuff that came from the factory. Mine were flopping around and had the screws pulling through. I reinforced the screw holes with a fiberglass patch from the back using Gorilla glue (clean well first). Then clean the whole back of the skirt with acetone. Fill the skirt with Locktite Tight Foam just below level. Let it rise and harden overnight. Trim it flush with a large bread knife and then seal with paint or rubber seal spray. Several light coats. Re-drill your holes and through bolt with finishing washers where possible and new SS self tappers in the blind holes. $30 bucks instead of $4-5 hundred. See photos attached

Incredible job!!! Mine was the “cap” up front and unfortunately no real way (from what I see) to accomplish that same effect.

Again, great work.

Some divisions of FR have a price cap for ordering direct from them. In my case (Prime Time), the price cap is $50. Anything higher than that has to be ordered through a dealer.

If you contact Coachman through their official contact page, they're usually pretty good at getting back to you.
