Question " Popping " sound from electric lift

Good Morning,

I am the proud owner of a 2006 Flagstaff pop up. All is well except for occaisional popping sound during top lifting. It is intermittent, and the roof seems to go up just fine. I keep up with all servicing/greasing/oiling etc. I am not sure what this is. Should I be concerned?
I am the second owner, however this unit was purchased in spectacular condition and still is.

Any assist will be apprec.

Carl

Added:

I have checked battery and the charge is good. That was just b4 I raised the top. ...Thank you to Iggy for your reply.

Welcome.

What is the condition of your battery?
When were they checked last?
Are you plugged into shore power when you do this?
To me it sounds like low volatge from the battery.
Or being you are a second owner it just may be a missing gear lobe you hit at a specific time.
Good luck

Carl, not sure if you figured this out or not. My previous Rockwood HW 276 popup 2007 did this same thing all the way up till i traded it in for my new roo last year. i had the cable replaced in 2009 because it was fraying and it was still under warranty. even after it was replaced and adjusted it still made that sound, I wrote it off as being the weight of the top that it was lifting and the cable not exactly laying down in the wench properly. i don't think its going to cause much of an issue. it was sometimes loud enough to startle me. just be sure to check for major fraying of the cable and use best judgement on replacing it.
