Rear Ladder Replacement

Had a mishap with the rear ladder on my 2016 Rockwood Travel Trailer (2905) and need to replace the ladder.

Any suggestions on where I can find one. Here are pics of the damage and a friends ladder that is the same as the one I need.

Any help is appreciated!

I bought one in 2013 from forest river, rockwood division. The guy back then was todd stringfellow. May be gone now. But since then, I've learned that rv parts and repairs dealers often have some takeoffs really cheap. Call around your area.
I have a brand new 5 rung the fr. Sent for mine that was wrong one. I needed 6 rung.
I'd give it to you if you were closer. Never mounted. Fr sent the correct one.

Where are you located? Wonder if I could work out a deal to pay for shipping?

Just look at his profile.
It says Louisiana.

Rear Ladder Replacement

https://www.strombergcarlson.com/pro...oor-rv-ladder/

I did get replacement standoffs from Amazon.
You TT insurance may cover all of the damage.
Get up top and check for damage to roof and get it repaired to prevent water intrusion.

Thought, when you remount the stand-off flanges, I would caulk fill the old holes and rotate the flange so as to put the Stainless Steel screws Into new material.

I just have to ask out if curiosity. How did this happen? It doesn't look like there was any impact to your tt back wall but only to the ladder and awning. It just seems like it must have been a good hit to have sheered the tubing of the ladder.

Have one still in bubble wrap hanging in my garage... never installed - replaced by insurance due to cosmetic damage. Removing and replacing was more concerning than the two small dings my installed ladder had.

Located in northern NJ...

Backed into a sign that I did not see and it ripped the ladder and awning to shreds. [emoji849][emoji15]

That sucks but hopefully that happened at the end of you trip and not on the way there. That surely would not be a good way to start your trip.

Best of luck with your search for the ladder and with the repairs repairs.

Thanks for sharing

No such luck. Happened as I pulled the TT into the neighborhood before our trip to the mountains. Still went tho!
