Replacing tail lights 2013 microlite question
Finally needing to replace tail light and wondering where the black wire was connected if even connected? Looking inside the crimped connectors it looks like this was never put anywhere?

The loose black wire from your light assembly is for tail lights and should be connected to the light green wire on your rig. Looks like it got pulled out of the crimp connector. White is the ground and brown is your Stop & RH signal light.

With the way everything was crimped it looks like black was hanging out waiting for a match or it had been connected to trailer green! Just hooked it up like they had it and driving truck back to connect and check

Thankful for the game operation... Found me a red wire way back in there. This was the silicone plug inside the opening installed at the factory many moons ago

Yes, the red wire attaches to the green on the light assembly on that side for STOP/LH Turn operation.

Are we going to get a look see at the new lighting system?
The suspense is killing us.

From the pic in Post#10, it looks like the OP replaced the old white based fixtures with black based fixtures. The lighting remains incandescent.

Hate that Youtube showed white to white & green to green & single wire to 3 wires .... could not find anything that ended up looking like what we had! Happy that all is working :-) ... ready to go and yes, no LED (camper is 2013, truck is 1996 no need to get that bright!)
this was our the same backend after our last adventure so you can appreciate it is very important that we go camping!!!!
