Roof and side brush....

Dumb question but I just don't want to assume anything.....This week I will be doing a full exterior cleaning on my camper for the first time since I bought it. I have a pretty good idea how and what to use (cleaner wise) for both the body and the rubber roof. My question is, am I correct in thinking that as long as I wash the brush off good between cleaning the roof and sides, that using the same extendable soft brush would be ok???

I've used the same brush for both but I use a mild soap on my roof, Murphy's Oil Soap. I'd say some of the stronger roof cleaning chemicals might be bad for decals if not thoroughly removed from the brush.

I use the long handled brush on the roof and a much softer long handled pad type on the sides.

Just completed washing roof and sidewalls last week using an extendable soft brush with the hose connection on one end. Used a ladder to avoid going on roof as my roof is fiberglass and smooth surface. Think rubber TPO roofs have pebbled surface which provides some tread but also traps dirt in depressions. Same brush used on sidewalls but very gently over decals. Came out good but didn't have time to apply polish. Next job!
