Roof leak trading camper in

I have a 2018 Cherokee 274dbh. We covered it for the season this past winter and when we opened up we saw that the wall paper in the back bunk corner was discolored. I did not see any roof problems at that time. Today I was cleaning the roof to trade in the camper and now see a crack in the corner seal.

We have all the paperwork done for the trade and take it Saturday. Anyone have any input of what the dealership is going to do? It’s camping world I know they can be harsh just not sure how much extra money I should plan on taking off my trade. There is noticeable wallpaper discoloration under the bunk in the outside compartment corner as well.
I have a picture of the bunk corner attached it’s what the compartment looks like too.
I don’t know if they’re going to say it needs a new roof and walls? Neither feel compromised or soft.

To add insult to injury there is also damage in the bottom of our pantry from the black tank flush that leaked.

The max we were willing to compromise was taking $5000 off the trade is that reasonable?
If they can’t do that we were just going to try to sell the camper on rv trader after repairing and sealing the roof.

What paperwork?

Did they accept it as a trade?

I assume that they gave you X on trade without seeing it based on an inspection when you bring it in??

I would not bring it up unless they do. I'm good at dumb.

Your probably right.

When I contacted a Jayco dealer about trading in our 2011 Sringdale they quoted me $XXXX based on an inspection.
Took it to the dealer and after inspection they held to the quote.
Their main concern was the roof.

We signed for a quote trade of $15000 which was on the higher end they initially were at $13000 and the lower value according some type of Kelly blue book system they got $10,000. Were prepared to go to $10,000 just didn’t know if they would go lower because we didn’t disclose the damage. (The roof damage I didn’t notice till yesterday. I just thought it was moisture built up from having covered over the winter because it was out first time covering it)

They probably easily can make up for it on the sale price of the new unit that you are purchasing.
