Roof Repair Plans

I found the following problems when checking the roof of our 2014 Georgetown 328. Above the front passenger window there is a crack that has opened up to hole and another crack that has split but not opened up. These cracks are in the black painted area. My plan is to use black eternabond tape and cover the black area from the front cap to the attachment point of the awning. I'm looking for opinions and thoughts on my repair plans. Temporarily I have put black gorilla duct tape on the areas.
Thanks Jay

Before applying Eternabond tape to any part of a rubber roof--use "denatured alcohol', found at most big box stores, to clean the area the tape will be applied to. Allow to dry good before applying the Eternabond tape. You may, probably will, have to remove the gorilla tape and clean thoroughly before applying the Eternabond.

I had rippling of this area of the roof on my 2017, 329. Under warranty the dealer did a radius repair and installed metal covers over the whole radius down both sides. I think your repair is only a temp fix, Don't know what it would cost to do the repair on yours the way my dealer performed on my RV.

Eternabond will do the job. Cover the entire area and you'll be good.
