RV Roofs ???

As mentioned in a previous post I may have some roof rot. It is not to the extent that it has compromised the interior cabin as of yet. My question is what type of material is most rv roofs made of. Is suspect it is some type of plywood with a rubber coating. Why wouldn’t manufacturers just use fiberglass? Seems like it would be more durable and light weight, and if I’m going to go to the trouble of replacing this particular section of roof can I replace it with fiberglass?

I contacted Forest River/Rockwood direct to ask about the type of roof I have on my Mini Lite. They responded promptly and were very helpful. (I have a TPO membranne roof).
Here is the contact info.
Good luck!
