Sealant used on GeoPro / ePro

Does anyone know what the sealant is that is used on the Geo Pro around the edge trim, windows, marker and tail lights? I don't think it is the usual silicone, it has a rough texture and it is not the usual translucent/clear color.

If it is the same as used on other FR products it could be butyl tape. Do no use silicone sealant on any joint you may need to open and reseal. Once silicone bonds to a surface nothing, even more silicone, will stick there.

They use Butyl tape under the flanges and normally use Geocel polyurethane around the lips on the vertical surfaces.

I use Lexel on all vertical surfaces where I need clear sealant.

It does look like it is evenly applied so it could be a tape of some sort. But I don't think it is butyl tape. That stuff is pretty thick. This stuff is about as thin as painters tape or perhaps scotch tape, but it is translucent and slightly yellow.
