Unhappy Sealing Slide Out Seal

I am not getting any help from Coachman about what they use for sealant. I am receiving several reasons why they can't tell me what they use.
So I decided to turn to the experts and ask the question here.

I need to seal two (2) areas on my coach.
1. I need to replace the seal on one of my slide outs. What is the best sealant to seal the edge of the rubber seal? The side of the coach is "Adzel Composite" I need to get this completed ASAP as water (rain) has come inside the coach.

2. Also I need to seal around the bottom of the shower. I am not sure what the material is used in the shower. I purchased a sealant at Lowes and that did not work at all.

I have tried to make contact with Dicor and ask them questions. So far no reply to my 3 emails to customer service.

Is the Dicor sealant the best for this type use?

I believe you can you ProFlex clear sealant around the slide seal if you are talking about filling the gap between the seal and sidewall. Pictures would help identify the area in concern.

If water is coming out from under the shower make sure that you find the cause of the leak. Don’t just seal it up.

When water is coming out from under the shower there is usually a plumbing problem with the shower drain that needs fixing.

I was not very clear. In regards to the shower it is the inside I need to seal around where the side walls meet the bottom. Some of the older sealant has come loose.

If you have a plastic side wall and a separate pan there should be no sealant between the two. The pan has a lip that goes up a couple of inches behind the sidewall. If any moisture gets behind the side wall it needs to be able to flow into the shower pan.

Slide seal sealant

I have a Coachmen as well. I have not had a leak on my slide but while washing a few weeks back I did not like the way the slides seal caulk was looking. I purchased my 5vr new 4 years ago. I went by Camping World looking for pro flex but they did not have it so I bought another brand of clear silicone and have been on one trip since. It seems to be holding up well so far.
