Skylight Condensation Mini Lite
I know there are several posts here and elsewhere on this topic but I am encountering some issues now myself. I am following the guidance but not sure what is the cause still. No cracks and caulk looks all good on top of roof. No apparent underside areas where air could be leaking in.
I removed inner dome and dried out the condensation from upper dome (on a sunny hot day). No wetness on roof exposed area so lucky there. Styrofoam insulation was dry and clean as well. Tape appeared to be sticking well.
This is an original installation on a 2021 2205S. No visible cracks anywhere and I did a air leak test from outside and no evidence any air getting in. I am adding some more Dicor just in case.
I do not use the shower and in a few days after I re-installed inner dome we had some cool nights and light rain. Now it appears some light condensation is re-appearing. I will remove the inner and try replacing the tape. Not sure what else could be causing this. It has been parked in outdoor storage when this occurred.
My other question is: do you also caulk around the frame of the inner skylight where it meets the ceiling? Mine was but most discussions and vids do not seem to do that but assumed it was probably good thing to do.
Any other suggestions are welcome.
Love this forum and all the helpful tips.
Thanks
