Slide out seal,

I am needing to replace this seal around my slide out. I'm not sure what its called. I went to an RV dealer and they seemed highly over priced for what they were wanting to sell me and it was all twisted up. Any tips or hints? Thanks.

The dealers overcharge for everything. Is the seal ripper or torn? if it just came out and is still in good shape you may be able to re-use it, by cleaning it up re-installing it. You can use some clear caulk to hold it in place at the ends. if you need to replace it I would check with Amazon or Etrailer. Etrailer is a good on line retailer that has decent prices.

Try this place Search results for: 'slide out seal'
I have ordered from them before with good results. You will have to try to match up the size and the shape with what you have. A quick search tells me that that stuff is pricey! Also you can search for Slide out seals and gaskets I used google and there were a lot of places that sell it, the hard part is going to be to find the right style as there are many different ones. Also a suggestion I have read here on this site, some people use baby power in a sock to keep the seals from sticking to the trailer and tearing, have not tried it you but it is on my list of to do items. Good Luck

Girl, you can get that on Amazon. Company that makes it is AP Products, and you can buy from them or Amazon. I just bought some to replace several of my seals. Unfortunately it only comes in 35 foot rolls/lengths.
On Amazon punch up item # 018-312-EKD. Runs $80.45 for the 35 feet, free shipping and 2 day delivery with Amazon Prime.
