Using Eternabond tape

Was wondering if any of you have used this over top of the Dicor sealant on the roof? I watched a video of a guy that put it over all of his. It looks much cleaner and to me appears to seal better. Mine is a 2015 Windjammer and would like stay ahead of any issues with leaks.
Also not sure if there would be any warranty issues by doing this.

Thought about doing the same thing with the tape on my unit.
Warranty issues ,have to wonder if someone would cry foul if you had an issue with the roof.

I used it on the seam of the front cap as I thought the caulk from the factory was pretty sparse. Also used it around the skylight over shower and around the TV antenna, looks good and is really stuck!!

I used it on my previous Roo, I plan to use it on our current TT, too, but not until next year. It's great stuff but pricey. I do have enough left over from the Roo to repair any incidental tears that I might get in the mean time.

Anybody ever use the tape on the slide-out end?
Had thoughts of using it here

I have a slideout topper so for me it's probably not needed. Without the topper, it would be a good idea to protect that seam as well.

I don't know how you could go wrong by using the Eternabond. I used it on two previous RV's. Once its on its on and it wont leak. As far as how it might affect warranty, that I do not know. I even used on the underbelly of our current RV when I had to open it up to do repairs to freshwater tank vent and fill lines. It is well worth the money.

I am beginning to think that Dicor is not the best solution as there was just such a discussion over on the Forester Forum that can be found HERE

Also, Ray over at Love Your RV has an excellent write-up that can be found HERE

The video at the end is worth watching

What you need is a 4" fiber backed seam tape that accepts a coating,

There are a couple of brands. Camping World has a similar product. Stuff sticks to everything (roof, fingers, pants LOl). Used it to seal a stubborn link on the front seam of my C, water had gotten under the caulk, not visible that it had come loose except for mold forming at that location. Sealed TIGHT. Now going to recoat the rubber roof when it drys out (24" of rain this month).
