Vent Cushions

Hi all! We have a 2016 Palomino Solaire. It has 3 roof vents that open with a lever (instead of the little nob we have had on prior campers). I want to get vent cushions - or covers of some kind - that can help with insulating against the heat and cold. However, it seems the standard cushion might not fit in there very well with this lever.

Does anyone else have levers like that and, if so, have you been able to use any kind of cushion or cover? If so, what kind?

Thanks so much!

The 2nd picture is an attempt to show you how far the lever hangs down...

How about cushions with a slot in them. Any good seamstress or upholstery shop could make them.

I am having the same issue. I want to plug up the bedroom ceiling vent but that big handle will be a problem. The standard style will not push up in there.

I used foam for my vent. I did have to trim it a little bit to get to fit right and I carved some of the foam out where the vent handle would sit. It fits good now.
Maybe you could do the same.
Sharp scissors and box cutter is what I used.
