very small holes in roof

just treated the roof the other day. Noticed one very small hole in the slide out roof, about the size of a roofing nail. The other is a small slit maybe 3/4". What is the best way to repair these?

I'd use EternaBond tape first and then keep an eye on it to see if it is getting ripped or cut.

I just stopped by my local RV shop and they sold me a roofing patch. Self adhesive with alcohol pads to prep it. I'm not sold yet. Didn't feel like a good seal and it's quite thick. Not sure the patch on the slide out will hold once it hits the seal. A couple people said "is it under warranty" and it is but IDK if its worth the time for such little holes. Probably have to bring it to a shop and they'd just patch it and I'd have to haul it there and leave it there for 3 weeks.

I think I will switch out to the eternabond. I've had the camper for just under a year. Do you think something like this is worth checking into the warranty? Or will it just be a headache and the dealership (which is 300mi away) will just slap on eternabond anyway? It doesn't seem like it will spread or tear or anything. Yet at the same time I probably shouldn't be having an issue already.

Yes!!! if tt is less than 1 year and you have warranty get dealer and forest river to make repairs. There may be bigger problems that are causing this call now!

Hope this helps Tim

You could also call forest river for a warranty facility closer to home. If you go to the link below you will find who you need to call for your brand of tt. Found this link in the library tab on the top of this page

Hope this helps Tim
