Wall Failure due to Poor Construction

Our 5 year old 26’ Surveyor’s rear wall has had water intrusion below the window that has lead to a completely wet plywood below the window. Obviously poor construction. It was not noticeable until the wallpaper began to bulge in the last few months.

The camper has had a cover made of Cool-O-Rue while stored outdoors so the window has not had direct driving rain. Very disappointing.

Any chance to get the factory to cover the repair?

Welcome to the forum its a great place to get your questions answered. I think you are barking up the wrong tree. This sounds more like a lack of proper maintenance. Having a rig covered does not stop chalking from cracking or window drains from becoming clogged. JMHO

You can always try the mfgr., but I doubt they'd do anything after five years. If it were me, I'd remove and reinstall the window with the proper sealant, and deal with any other possible water ingress locations before working on the cosmetic stuff.
