Weather stripping cracked

Anybody experienced this? 2018 model and everybody instantly says the warranty is expired. Recommendation on DIY replacement parts and any installation advice? Currently living in it full time, so dropping it at the dealer isn't an option. T Y I A!!!

Is that the strip that covers the screws??? If so it is not insulation. Very common issue.

Also it is very easy to replace. You buy it by the foot. Just pops in.

-Oaklevel, it's covering the screws. I appreciate the insight!!! Since one side cracked, I'm gonna do both on principle.

Super easy to do and inexpensive. Our new TT had sat on the lot for 16 months. The black trim cover cracked in 3 locations, multiple on each. Didn’t notice it until after our first trip during my post trip inspection. Could have tried warranty but $19 for 50’ of trim cover (JR brand) shipped to my house (Amazon) and 30 minutes and it was done. Checked all the screws underneath while I was at it. Don’t forget to seal the ends when you are done. Choose the sealant of your choice to match what the factory used

I see people have posted it is an easy fix... ok, what do I search for (what is it called) to buy some replacement material?

If I put the same thing wouldnt it likely crack also? Should I also add any tape or some other sealant?

Thanks

This is what I bought. Camco also makes it. This seemed to be a bit thicker.

Search for "vinyl insert screw cover" or the premium version posted above.

I went with lower end stuff and not sure it will last very long but at $19 for 100ft and about 10min work I can replace it again next year with the higher end next year.
