What product to use on front of Salem Cruise lite
We have a 2017 Salem Cruise Lite and the upper portion of the front of the TT appears to be some sort of plastic material. I have tried using automotive paste wax and 303 Aero Protectant on this area. Neither one seems to give it much of a shine. The wax is noticeably better in regards to water repellent (water beads & runs off quickly).
The one thing I noticed while applying the wax was that it didn't want to stick to the surface very well. When you use it on a car, it applies evenly but on the TT it sticks some places but not others. After really applying some elbow grease I could get a pretty even coating but it was definitely different than a painted surface.
I also notice that the black part of the decals on the front are slightly faded. Any special product for them?
We don't have a barn or carport for our TT so I bought a cover for it. I have used it off & on in the last year but it looks like it is chafing the front plastic (or whatever) a little so now I'm hesitant to keep putting it on.
If anyone with some experience with the Salem (or other RV) with this same material that has some ideas, I'd be happy to hear them.
