what type of sealant works the best on rubber roof

We closed up for the season and checked the roof for any loose or cracked caulking and found that everything that we used last season had basically been useless,,we were told to use a plasticote product.
the product did say to use on rubber roofs, it stucked great to the can where it dripped out, however, it didnt bond to the roof at all, we applied the product to a clean roof, but it didnt hold,,,can you please tell us what all of your favorites are? We dont have any leak issues at the moment, however, we would like to maintain a few places where the caulking looks as though it is beginning to crack,,,thanks

Go to an RV parts store and look for Dicor. The caulk HAS to be compatible with EPDM rubber roofs and Dicor is it.

Listen to that Jeeper guy for he knows of what he speaks.

Make sure to get the lap sealant for the roof. It is self leveling (i.e. it oozes) so it fills voids better. Also, don't use petroleum products to clean it. Go to the Dicor website and use the recommended cleaner.
