What Vent Shroud to purchase

We purchased a new-to-us 2018 Arctic Wolf 305ML6 fiver and love it but it does not have a shroud over the bathroom vent. The dealer who sold us the 5th wheel said it takes a special shroud and hasn't been able to find one for us. Is he correct? If so, what shroud do we need? If not, which one do you recommend? The shroud I installed on our previous TT was a no brainer to install. Looking for advice.

most bathroom vents are the standard 14x14 so a Maxxair vert cover should work. I'm not sure what the dealer was referring to. climb up on the rig and check the vent area to be sure.

X2. Just make sure the bath vent hood is far enough away from the AC unit to let you open the Maxxair for cleaning purposes.

Some brands of vent covers/shrouds do not allow the vent lid to fully open. I believe the Maxxair covers allow full opening of the vent.

I recently found out there are different width/attachment requirements on some newer vents. Since you've already done this once, get your ladder out and climb up, or have someone else do it to see if some attachment risers are already installed on the bathroom vent shroud. Then you'll know what width and style to consider.

Thanks. I will have my fiver at out of storage this week to prep it for our "shake down" trip. I'll get on the roof and scope it out. I'm betting it's a pretty standard size and shape. I'll let you know.

WE bought the Camco Vent.

Since we only use the vent when we take a shower to vent the steam/humidity or after using the toilet it works fine, and is less expensive than the Maxair.
