found a replacement to order, but do not understand width. replacement says to measure width of slide out opening it is 20 inches original is 45 inches does forest river buy toppers that fit all models no matter how wide the slide is . also need a center holder dometic wants 180 plus shipping must be something less expensive thanks keep safe

I've never seen a slide out that was just 20" wide. I think you may mean depth or extension. Most slide toppers will handle a depth or extension of 48" and it's common to use those on more shallow slide outs. They work just fine, they just don't unroll all the way.

yes width is 22.5 feet and the opening is only 20 inches just wondering why the original was that length and the new one will be that much shorter
