Adding Gas Supports to OD Kitchen Door

I just picked up my new Heritage Glen 5ver with an outdoor kitchen. On the marketing pictures, they show the access door on an angle and acting as a roof type shelter, but in reality, they use a typical hatch clip to hold it up, so it really is flat to the side of the trailer. I am looking to add a gas support on each side so that when I open the latches, the door will raise up and stop at an appropriate height and angle that would allow me to have a little roof overhead when I am making coffee in the morning and fruit juices in the afternoon

below is a picture.. Are there any video's, drawings etc that could help recommend the correct gas supports and how to figure out the correct angle for installation?

Thanks for any info you could provide

I have the 356QBQ and the outdoor kitchen door has the gas struts. It is a 2014. Take a look at this link. It shows the struts.
