anyone added a shower doors to the shower and got rid of your curtain? Which did you use and any pics would be great thanks in advance !

Looking at the floor plan of your model, with the sink being where it is, you should consider looking at doors with three sliding panels instead of the standard doors with only two sliding panels. This will give you more room to get in and out in front of the sink cabinet.

I saw the nautilus retractable ... I was wondering if was POS or what they say.. yeah not lot room get in and out but with kids not easy keep water in lol...

My go-to shower enclosure manufacturer is Basco. They will make whatever I need to fit what I am working with. You may not see exactly what you want on their website, but that’s ok, because they will make it and send it to you or to a plumbing supply house. You just need to call them. They have a lifetime warranty, but sometimes I need to have doors made that are out of spec enough for them to require me to sign a waiver of the warranty, but that has never been an issue. For example, I had them make a door for a 4’ tub that required four panels. Since the panels were each less than 12” wide, they didn’t want to be liable for it. That door is now about 15 years old and still standing with no problems.

I prefer shower curtains for ease of access and cleaning/drying access with nothing in the way. I can see myself bumping into a shower door.

I installed an according style door in my unit to rid me of the curtains . works great but don't have any pics of it . seems it was around 75 bucks shipped from amazon . been about 8 months sice install and still in great shape with daily use

Does it have a bottoms track? You cramped in with door feel the same?

Yes bottom track with drain back into the shower . it does take away a couple inches of room since with the curtains they moved to give more room with the doors it a bit tighter . i'm 6'2 250 and do fine though

not easy kids get water all over and its brand new so like to keep unflooded lol.. So screws into place..?

Side tracks screws in ,top and bottom tracks fit into side tracks and then just silicone . . works well no leaks

The weight's in the glass. If you get one with plastic panels and aluminum frame, the gain is negligible.

yeah glass too heavy but want least a decent quality so not in need of replacing every year seen the retractable type the folding slide ones like mentioned above .. something just shield the water from soaking side the walls

Weight isn't an issue with what i installed all Vinyl but heavy duty . .

Ok, didn't realize they made lightweight plastic ones. You're not going to hitting your elbows shampooing your hair or face? You probably wouldn't notice if you bump into curtain, but the irritating bong-bong-bong of a door, I've just noticed that when in very small non-RV showers.

I ditched my tri fold after the glass shattered over winter.... glass was a pain to clean..

I went from sliding door to dollar store curtain when in broke in transit after forgetting to secure. The price to fix was crazy. a dollar store curtain and the weight savings was good enough for me.

Interesting doors, but they look like a PITA to keep clean.
