Awning

I would like to put an awning on my 12 ft living room slide on my 333mk wildcat 5th wheel! Is this possible?

Seems like that would be possible. Maybe not cheap, but possible. We have an awning on our dining room slide.

A manual one would probably make it easier. Running electric and a switch for a power awning would up the difficulty 10 fold.

Manual is ok! Sometimes I wish my main awning wasn't power!

As a side note. I have a huge main awning that goes over the top of my dinette slide on the door side of my unit. You want to mount it directly to the side of the slide?

As long as the side walls had the support for the tube and braces?

Yes, mount it to the slide, same side as the door! I wonder if the slide is built to handle the bolts and weight?

I looked up your floor plan. Would it be possible to replace your short main awning you have now and get the longest they make and go over your slide?

my last 5th wheel had a 12 foot awning because it stopped at the slide, my new unit has a 20 some foot awning that continues over the slide. Just a thought that may work.
