Awning cleaning and protecting

We live in the woods and if I leave the awning out it is covered in tree droppings in no time.

Previously I have cleaned my hot tub cover then treated it with ArmourAll protectant that has UV protection as well. It kept the cover not only cleaner but gave it a nice gleam. If something gets on it it cleans off easily.

What does everyone think of using ArmourAll on the awning to keep it cleaner?

Thanks!

I've used Protect All and it works great.....Considered using ArmourAll....since I also used ArmourAll on our Hot tub cover.....Couple weeks ago I was using ProtectAll on the RV and when I got to the awning I decided to give it a try. I was very pleased with the turn out. First I washed the awning with 1/4 cup of bleach, 1/4 cup of dishwashing liquid in 2 gallons of water mixed in the sprayer.

I have found that (Dollar General) Mean Green Mold and Mildew Remover works great! Hit the tough spots with a magic erasure. I use the 303 AreoSpace Formula to prevent mold/mildew.
another tip: if you have the black streaks down the side of the camper the Campco Black Streak remover sucks, spray on full strength Simple Green and they melt away with a little help from a magic erasure they are gone completely.
