Awning motor

Don't want to pay 400.00 for a new motor for awning if I can get around it. I have a 2012 Rockwood, 18 ft awning, mfg/pcn 958470049. Is that the normal life for the motor? I averaged we may have used it 60-70 times over the 7 years. It's never been damaged or left out in bad weather. Wondering if a used one would be an option? Opinions and suggestions welcomed.
Thanks,
Sharen

What brand. LCI motors can be bought at NAPA. Dometic at Walmart.

Awning motor

Good luck. $315 was the cheapest I could find a Dometic awning motor.

Actually, search the forum- someone found them for $90-110 here on the forum. They posted a link to it.

Has anyone tried to take one apart and repair them?

That looks like it. We were told to use the mfg/pcn number. I'm not sure where these other numbers are coming from with the (.) followed by 3 numbers unless it's on the motor, I've not taken it all the way out yet.
Thanks
