Awning won't go out

I have a motorized Awning on my 26dbh, just got to the campsite and it wont extend, wife said she started to and it went like 2-3 inches then stopped. i checked the fuse box but i didn't see a fuse labeled for the awning. Anyone know if there is a fuse for the awning, or a way to manually extend it? i didn't see any places to manually use it, any help would be greatly appreciated, its hot!

Ask someone to push the awning button and check fuse box at same time, if fuse is burnt, the associated red led should light up.

nothing lights up on the fuse box, must be a loose wire or something

You can pull panel where switch is and check behind for loose wire/connection and a fuse.

1fast went to go get a power drill to do it manually, but he wont be back for an hour. I'm his wife, popped the panel off and unscrewed the switch to reach wires. Everything seems to be in order, I made sure all the wires were tight, pushing them in a bit as there was nothing blatantly loose. Is there something else I should be looking for?

It is possible you have a stripped wire in the track where support arms come in. I had this issue at top of track. Cleaned and electrical tape where stripped and now works fine

That could be a possibility, I'll have to wait til he gets back with the truck to do a thorough investigation. Thanks for the suggestion!

Well, we think the circuit breaker is the problem. Whenever we take out seven of the eight 15 volt/watt/whatever fuses a little red light is on, when we get to the 8th one which is hand written but completely illegible and take that one out no red light. The fuse is good, but when we remove it no red light... We were able to manually open it but i'm afraid this is gonna be a costly repair since its the whole fuse panel.

The red led only lights up if there is a circuit being made and fuse is burnt or removed. So because red led does not light up, does not mean problem with that fuse/circuit. Time for a multimeter and check voltage at the switch and motor leads. Motor could be burnt/bad connection etc etc

Mine did the same thing, it was just stuck. As my son held the switch I pulled on it and out it came!

It may just in a bind. Give it a pull while someone actuated the switch.

Ours just did the same thing, pulled on it while the button was being pushed and it extended out full.

My awning fuse wasn't in the fuse panel. You may want to ask your dealer exactly where it is on your model.
