Awnings and storage

Just curious if anyone does anything special with their awning before a 4-5 month storage. It's in an unheated building so I'm assuming mildew shouldn't be a problem in cold climate, or am I wrong. Any sort of treatment at winterizing time ?

Give it a good cleaning top and bottom and ensure it is completely dry before storing.

Clean it, but some WET AND FORGET, use as directed. No mold or mildew. Easy Peasy.
