Bathroom dome cover

Hi all I am after some help please the large clear dome in the bathroom over the bath in a 5 th wheeler is there a cover that you can get like the maxxair covers you can get over the small hatch

I’m going to say no....someone might say otherwise.

More importantly....why would you ask? To much light? Too much heat?

Ours in the shower... I had the dealer measure/order/ install a retractable shade that when pulled, clips to it's frame.. open when showering .. our reason was too much heat build up in day,& light and depending on the site, sometimes to much at nite too (light)

I took the interior of the dome down (the outside is attached on the roof) and sandwiched a piece of Reflectex on the interior cover. Cuts down on both heat and light.

I have seen some people spray the leak stop rubber coating over the top of the dome to cut down on light transmission. Added benefit it provides some protection.

OC did a mod I believe with flat plexi and aluminum plate.

I am worried about plastic deteriorating or gets broken I am in Australia and for 4 months a year the temp reaches over 45 c daily I have purchased covers for the small air vents the heat and light don't worry me
