Cabinet contact?

Who makes the cabinets in or for forest river?

I would like have made a shelf for my entertainment area and figured the best way to match the laminate is to have made by the same company.

I have dark espresso cabinates inside of my Stealth Evo 2850. Shelf to measure 32" by 7.5"

If they're anything like the Sabre campers, they're made in house at the factory. Maybe try contacting your parts or warranty rep and see if you can request it.

If someone could post up the contact list again, it would be very helpful.

Maybe this time I will print out the list! 😆

They will tell you to contact a custom shop. They do not do that kind of work....at least that's what Cedar Creek told me last year.

You don't have to print out the whole thing.. just your specific page(s).

They may not build it for you, but the will probably sell you the prefinished lumber parts that will allow you to have one made local. That is what I did to build an extra cabinet in my unit.

This cabinet on top of the closet is the result.

Looks just like the cabinet style in our trailer. I asked FR if they had a door that could be used to cover the old, CRT style TV cabinet opening and was told they didn't have anything that would work.

But, this also looks the same Thermofoil cabinetry that Home Depot used to reface our kitchen cabinets. I keep meaning to ask their contractor if he could order us a door but.

I ordered a door and cabinet wood stock from FR to cover the TV shelf opening. I mounted a swing arm / TV to the side of the cabinet. It needed to be able to swing forward when the rear slide bed is in. I had to cut a piece of wood to fill in one side of the opening (Right side) so that the available door would fit.

The light fixture keeps the door from fully opening, but it opens far enough to make the cabinet useful. I added a door stop cable to keep the door from hitting the light when opened.

Can you elaborate on how (and who) you contacted Forest River to order the material for this project?

Thanks!

I just ordered a door and some finished framing stock (to fill in the opening as Mod Guy did) for my trailer. I've been dealing with asimpson@forestriverinc.com. Amy works with Surveyor and RPod parts. Her phone number is 574-642-3119 x209.

I started by giving her the VIN, a picture of the surrounding cabinets and the dimensions of the door I need. Not surprisingly, they don't have a door for that opening size but do have one about an inch narrower.

Thanks. I understand from another thread the FR email server is rejecting all email messages. That explains why I haven't been able to find a working email account to ask for information. I will try to contact Amy once they get things working again.
