Dometic 9100E Awning Led Lights

Has anyone else had a problem with the LED lights that came on the awning So far, I've had about half of them go out on my 2014 8310SS.

If you've had the problem and replaced them, how are they attached to the awning? Glued - slide-in strip, etc.

Any help appreciated.

9100E LED Lites

Actually the awning is a 9100E series. Hard to believe I'm the only one with the lite problem.

I can't relate as I don't have any awning lights. Just curious, are these mounted to the roller tube or the sidewall of the camper? If you don't get any bites in this section, might try posting same thing in the brand specific section. Sometimes better luck that way.

Talked to the folks at Dometic today and was told the lites are held on with double sided tape. A replacement kit costs $71 but they'll be replaced under warranty.

If you haven't seen them, they are white, 12v and mounted on the underside of the awning near the camper wall.

Ok. Pretty much the one's everybody has. I have seen some mounted to the roller tube, but very few. I still do things the old fashion way. Hang lanterns, lights or whatever on the awning.
