Door issues

I have recently purchased a 2021 Alpha Wolf 26DBH-l, and on the first trip I had issues with the rear door. The door dead bolt would not open and after I took it apart then put back together I noticed the door has a gap in it. Has anyone had this issue? I have no idea what could have happened. The frame looks like it was bent inwards which also has me wondering what happened. Any help or info on this issue would be a great help.

Is it possible that the stairs weren't in all the way when the door was shut? It kinda looks like the stair latch to hold them in accidentally got sandwiched in between the door and the jamb.

Or could it be from the pin that allows you to adjust the feet on the stairs sticking out too far? That's what the second picture looks like to me.

I do not remember having that happen, but being new to this camper it could have happened. Would tapping it back in place work, or is there already too much damage to get it to seal correctly?

Before you do anything, wait for more advice than just mine. If it were me I'd try putting a towel between a pair of pliers and gently work it back to as straight as posssible.

Good luck.
