Question door set up pop up

I have a rockwood 2011 Travel trailer. I have always had difficulty setting in the door. The past couple of years the retainer clips at the top of the door frame will release after I have installed the door. This leaves about a 3 inch gap to the outside. As a result I have a entryway for insects. I have tried to stuff the gap with fabric such as a beach towel, but that is not secure. When I set up I check the level at the side and hitch. I also find that I can not secure the door velcro on both sides. Any suggestions are appreciated!

IS THE FLOOR OF THE CAMPER SIDE TO SIDE AND FRONT TO BACK LEVEL?

if your camper floor is not square your door entry way will not be square

wood boards or plastic boards should be used for side to side level support under the wheels

use the support jacks on each corner of the camper frame to perfectly level the floor of the camper using a 12 inch level on the floor do NOT use the corner jacks for GROSS leveling as they are not designed for that kind of stress
