Electric Awning Arm Outside Extrusion Cover Piece

Have a new Surveyor with the electric black frame awning. Went to close it yesterday and caught the "lend-a -hand " door assist handle in it. The awning still works fine but the outside cover (extrusion piece..the cover you see when fully closed) is bent in several places. Dometic wants you to buy the complete assembly for $328. plus shipping. I only need the single extruded cover. Does anyone have any ideas where I can find "just" that single piece? It's a model 8952002.400 in black. Thanks for any suggestions.

I would start checking at dealers !
I bent an arm once in a rain storm ( high winds) .

I called my dealer and said whole arm must be purchased but said he might have a warranty take off out back with a good arm !
low and behold he did and the best part is he shipped it right out to me at n/c

FIL came by last night and explained to me how dumb I was to let my awning pole get bent. he took it off and took it home. came back this morning and for the most part it looks pretty good. I'm content to keep it until I run accross another one. I'm going to keep looking but am not in a hurry to replace it.
