Electric Awning issues

We baught a 2014 Cherokee Destination Travel trailer 39h, we allso took the dealers extended warranty! Have always trusted and loved our Forest River products!, well after only two and a half months, our awning started having trouble retracting, could only put it back in by helping along, called our dealer, they took note of it, and said they had to get ahold of the manufacture, well our season came to an end and no response from
Lippert, thats the manufacture!, well new season has started a few weeks ago, and low and behold, the awning doesnt work at all now!, our dealer still hasent done anything about it!, has anyone else ha an issue, and how was it resolved????

I suspect the material on the roller is not centered and is binding the arms. You might have 2 people help you, one on each arm pulling while the other is pushing the button. Once the awing is out, center the material on the tube and pop rivet it to the tube thru the side hems on the awning.

Had the same problem with the awning on our 2014 Silverback....took in to our dealer for that and other issues....we had a bad motor, dealer ordered a new motor, called when it came in and we took it back for them to replace.....everything works fine now....just depends on which dealers want to take care of their customers and which ones don't.
