My 2021 Lippert awning stopped working at the 90% retracted position while retracting. I manually finished the retract. I can hear the relay activate when I switch to retract or extend. The relay so sounds like it is behind the microwave. I cannot find any schematics for troubleshooting. Where/which arm has the motor installed and where would I find the terminations? I would like to start at the motor before I pull the microwave. Thanks.
The control module on my Rockwood Mini Lite 2205S is behind the microwave, but it's not a solenoid. It's a Lippert OneControl module that controls the slideout, awning and the ceiling, awning, step and porch lights. I'd do as you intend and check the motor first for voltage when the awning switch is activated.
Mine is on the front. You can run it in or out with a drill and 10mm socket. I separated the cover, six screws and loosened the cover on the motor. You can’t remove the motor cover without removing the motor. By loosening the motor cover I could spray the inside with silicone spray which displaces moisture. Put it back together and it worked fine.
