Lubricating Sliding Windows

The windows in my Rockwood 5ver area PITA to open. I want to put some kind of lube on the tracks to make em side easier. Any recommendations need something odorless to keep the Wife happy?

Be sure to clean the track/slides then spray silicone lubricant on a paper towel and wipe the track/slides.

You could use cloth if you want.

Forgot to add that I have been using the WD-40 silicone.

A soft leaded pencil, rub it along the slides works good.

The WD with Silcone works too good. If you are not careful when closing the window it slams down
