Maxxair Cover on vent with fan

I installed the Maxxair vent covers on three vents no problem but the bathroom vent has a fan and I don't see a way to access the bracket screws. Does this require removing the fan in order to install?

You have to remove inner trim panel and screen to bolt all the way through.

I used the alternative method of drilling pilot hole and just using the screws that screwed into housing

Thanks Turbs.....just installed it yesterday. Had to remove the fan from the top side and a shroud cover on the bottom side. With those removed I could reach the back side of the frame for securing the nut and washer.

Do these help? My 320A Vengeance only has the bathroom vent and fan. Would it even be worth it to install one of them?

They help in the fact that you can use your fan raining or not.

I install a cover on all the vents that I have in my trailer. The biggest help is for when it's raining, no need to close the vent.

Electra Glide I was experiencing some leaking in the vent covers.... apparently cracked from weathering. The maxxair covers solved that problem AND I can now get better ventilation in the camper as I can now leave vents open more often.
