One hatch I can't lock

OK, on to the more minor of the things I found after I got her home......

The latch on the door where the inverter is....I can NOT lock it. It needs to be pushed in hard and I'm a big ole boy, and I can't push it in hard enough to turn the key. I am afraid if I force the key any more than I am, it will break the key off in the lock.

I'm not home, not near the camper, but thought I'd ask.....and in fact, all of the locks except the basement locks (a separate key and lock type) were/are hard to lock.

Ideas? WD-40 maybe? Replacement with something worth a dime???

??

If they're the standard cam locks you may need to slightly bend the tabs so they don't strike the lip so hard when closing the hatch door.

OK. will try that, thanks. I thought of some way to modify but that seems easiest to try first.

Thanks

Make sure you take the tab off the lock before trying to bend.

Don't use WD 40 in locks. There is a graphite lube for locks by several companies.
