potential door lock bolt breakage?
In an attempt to answer this question, I've searched using different terminology without success. I hope someone can help me with the answer.
I recall reading about a problem with some door locks where the bolt is made of zinc and breaks off in the lock. The result is a non-functional door lock, in the bolted position, with the owner locked inside.
My vague recall is that the issue affects the type of lock on the door of my 2020 MY Mini-Lite, and that the manufacturer offers a steel bolt as a replacement. (FR could have purchased the steel-bolt version but opted for the cheaper version.)
If my memory of the details is correct, can someone tell me where to obtain the replacement bolt?
Thanks
