Power Arm Strut Source

I have a defective gas strut in a Dometic 9100 awning power arm. I wish to replace the gas strut and am having difficulty matching the manufacturer. The strut is manufactured by Stabilus, and marked part numbers 851328 0800n, 3108392 360 (based on the P/N it is rated to 800nm, 179lbs tension.) The Dometic strut P/N is 3310555.010, and not available thru Dometic. Evidently, Dometic supplies the entire assembled arm, not parts to it. I have found what claim to be equivilant struts on Amazon, but only want to replace the defective one, and if using a mfr other than Stabilus, I would replace both struts to assure even tension on both arms. Stabilus USA is unresponsive to an email and phone inquiry. Has anyone been down this road and sourced where to purchase this Stabilus strut?

Google "gas strut 3108392.139". several subs available at Amazon etc.. This is what I have on my 20' 9100 awning.
