Problem with power awning

When we tried to extend our power awning on our mini lite today nothing happened: no noise, no movement. After researching various threads online I found one that sounded like a similar situation. The person said that they could not get their power awning to extend at all. After many attempts they went camping at a campground and plugged in to 30 volts there and gave the awning a try. It worked! So, with that in mind I suggested to my husband that we unplug our camper, then plug it in again. We tried that and it worked! We were able to extend and retract the awning! Have no idea why this worked but it did, so thought I’d share this experience.

Since the power awning is 12v, check the condition of the battery.
