Replacement parts for sunchaser awning?

Hi All!
I'm pretty new here. Love the site! Just bought a used (gently-like new!) Micro-Lite 18FBR. We love it. I have a small problem with the awning, though. We're on our first camping trip locally with it to find problems just like this. But everything works great but a bulb and my awning. Upon setting up the awning, I found that the support by the door, toward the back of the trailer, isn't right. The (?) aluminum "carriage" that slides up and down the support arm has apparently bent or widened and the top bar doesn't seat securely. So I pulled out some vice grips and squeezed it back to shape. But then I couldn't get the pin to push back in to it. It looks like a rivet, approx 1" in length. So I headed home and got a drill to take out the rivet and did so. I couldn't find a replacement at the Home Depot, I was able to slide the pin in from the side and it's hold. But I fear it coming out when traveling. Where can I find a pin for this? Is it in fact a rivet?

Thanks!
Brian
